Matthew Gonzales started with the firm in early 2024 as a legal assistant working at the front desk and now works as a paralegal. In the past, Matthew worked as an educator across all grade levels, teaching kindergarten and elementary students in Baltimore City, and with high-school scholars in Washington DC while pursuing his Master’s in Secondary Education and Special Education at American University. His time working in education provided the opportunity to enrich young minds and found great joy collaborating with his students’ families to work towards a shared common goal of educational success and personal growth. He is an avid writer, who spent his undergraduate at Towson University developing his technical skills and further nurturing a desire to never stop learning. Outside of the firm, Matthew spends his spare time reading and writing, practicing Thai Boxing, and developing narratives for tabletop role-playing games as a “Game Master”.
